Sports Excellence of the 1st Orthopedic Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA), in cooperation with the Laboratory of Adapted Motor Activity/Developmental Disorders of the School of Physical Education and Sport Science (SEFAA) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, closed successfully the seventh on line meeting with parents and teachers of special needs schools.
The meeting was attended by 22 parents and teachers from all over Greece. In particular, teachers of the following schools took part: 2nd Special Needs Primary School of Corinth, 6th Special Needs School of Athens, 1st Special Needs School of Korydallos, Single Special Needs Vocational Junior and Senior High School (ENEEGYL) of Egaleo and Peristeri, ENEEGYL of Acharnes and Koropi, ENEEGYL of Athens, Junior and Senior High School for pupils with motor disabilities in Ilion, Special Needs Vocational Training Institute (EEEEK) of Nafpaktos, 1st Primary School of Egio and Patras, EEEEK of Egaleo, EEEEK of Kallithea and Special Needs Junior and Senior High School of Athens in Ilioupoli.
The meeting was followed by a constructive discussion which showed that feedback is a necessary tool for synthesizing and comprehending the needs of pupils in special needs education.
The eighth on line meeting was held on Tuesday 19 May 2020 at 13:00 on the topic “Physical activity and creative engagement at home” for special needs pupils in cooperation with their parents.
