Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) is organizing the Scientific Day “All for the Marathon” at the Book Tower of SNFCC on Thursday 7 November 2019 at 15:00 – 21:00. The Scientific Day is being organized, for the fourth consecutive year, on the occasion of the Athens Authentic Marathon on 10 November. The guests are professors of international renown and qualified scientists from Greece and abroad. The topics presented will relate to the preparation, performance and rehabilitation of long-distance and marathon athletes. Speeches will be preceded by two interactive workshops which will analyze practical and coaching issues regarding assessment of the abilities, force and power of athletes sustaining prolonged effort.
