
PANAGIOTIS KOULOUVARIS
Dr Panagiotis Koulouvaris was born in Athens. He has graduated from the University of Athens Medical School and School of Physiotherapy. He has specialized in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology and has trained in Reconstructive Surgery for Major Joints and in Sports Injuries at the Hospital For Special Surgery Cornell University, New
York. His research activity started at Memorial Sloan Kettering and continued at the Hospital For Special Surgery. Dr Koulouvaris has worked at the Olympic Village Polyclinic and has held, since 2014, the position of Assistant Professor at the 1st Orthopedic Clinic of the UoA. Since 2009, he has been an International Ambassador for the Hospital For Special Surgery. He is the scientific coordinator of the postgraduate programme entitled “Sports & Health” of the UoA Medical School, the Sports Excellence programme and the Mobile Medical Units, which have been created on the initiative and with the exclusive financial support of Stavros Niarchos Foundation. He is a member of the FOCOS group in Ghana and of the UoA coordinating committee for “Crises and Disasters Management”.

STAVROS BOGLOU
Stavros Boglou is the Administrative Director of Regeneration & Progress and has been working with our team since 2015. His professional experience, before taking up his duties at R&P, includes positions in the fields of administration, robotics and industrial automation. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electronic Engineering and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).

CHARILAOS TSOLAKIS
Charilaos Tsolakis has graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science (TEFAA) and holds a PhD in the impact of resistance training on muscle strength, muscle mass and testosterone levels of pre-adolescent and adolescent males (1996). He has been a postdoctoral research scholar (2000-2001) of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). He was elected as lecturer at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science in 2002 and currently holds the position of Associate Professor. Charilaos Tsolakis has published 50 scientific papers in Greek and international research journals. He was Greece’s national fencing coach from 1991 to 2008 and Technical Director of the Hellenic Fencing Federation from 2008 to 2014. Moreover, he has held the position of Technical Adviser to the Hellenic Olympic Committee (2006-2016). Since 2015, he has been a scientific collaborator of the non-profit-making organization Regeneration and Progress.

ARGIRO PARIKOU
Argiro Parikou holds a degree in Medical Instruments Technology from the School of Technological Applications of the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens. She has many years of work experience at departments of medical equipment tenders as well as of Hospital Unit reconstruction studies. She has participated in the World Congress on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, Sydney, Australia [Surgery risk management support: Status report (2003)].
She staffs Procurement and Administrative Support of the organization.

ELENI KOLIA
Eleni Kolia is the Project Manager (PM) of Sports Paths, Regeneration & Progress. She has studied Personnel Organization and Management at the University of Piraeus and holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management (HRM) from the Business School of the University of East London (BSEL). Moreover, she has 20 years of work experience in the fields of tourism (Galileo Hellas), sports (OCOG ATHENS 2004), trade-imports (Il Toro Ltd) and exports (Οliveway).

EVGENIA HEROUVIM
Evgenia Herouvim has graduated from the School of Physical Education and Sport Science (SEFAA) of Athens and holds a PhD in the role of muscular oxygenation in determining maximum oxygen intake, as well as a Master’s degree in the biology of exercise. She has been a researcher and ergophysiologist at the Research Center of Intensive and Emergency Thoracic Medicine “THORAX” – Respiratory Function and Exercise Laboratory, where she worked on the assessment of respiratory function & cardiorespiratory fatigue in athletes and patients with chronic respiratory diseases. Moreover, she has been employed as an ergophysiologist – gymnastη at the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Unit of the 1st Pulmonary University Clinic, Sotiria Hospital, where she was responsible for organizing and operating the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programme for patients with chronic heart failure and chronic respiratory diseases, as well as for carrying out ergometric tests. She has published 12 scientific papers in international research journals and has contributed to university textbooks. She is an ergophysiologist at Sports Excellence.

ANASTASIOS BLATSIOS
Anastasios Blatsios has graduated from the Department of Public Administration of Panteion University and holds an A class accountant’s-tax adviser’s license and an insurance adviser’s license. He has been employed, since 1993, at technical companies and non-profit-making foundations-associations.

THEODOROS DAVIOTIS
Theodoros Daviotis was born in Elassona, Larisa in 1991. Since 2009, he has been living permanently in Athens. He has graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science (TEFAA) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. From 2005 to 2014 he was involved in elite long-distance running and mountain running. In 2011, he started working professionally on the organization of sports events and in 2015 he started being systematically involved in long-distance coaching, whereby he has supported elite sport athletes with a lot of distinctions at both a national and international level.
Since 2016, he has been employed at the non-profit-making organization Regeneration and Progress as director of grassroot sports programmes, in charge of coordinating sports activities at the SNF Cultural Center, the Summer Nostos Festival and the Vamvakou Mountain Run 2019.
Furthermore, he is a member of Sports Excellence, responsible for coordinating the programme “Sports for All” for pupils with disabilities.

JOHN ILIOPOULOS
John Iliopoulos has studied Electronics (Technological Educational Institute of Pirea) and Electrical Engineering, (National Technical University of Athens).
With more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry and diverse experience in start ups, integration and restructuring, he has functioned as IT Mgr and Consultant for well known greek companies.
He joined our team in 2016 operating as ΙΤ Mgr and Sports Performance Analyst.
